Compression test worked out great.. Headgasket is fine.. Boys done a cooling system leakdown check and drained the fuel tank and put in fresh fuel just to rule that out.. No better
Myself and Sean have looked at the diagram until I could free hand draw it now at this stage.
There is only one option left and that is the KLR and DME control units.. We have literally exhausted all possibilites now
I got a DME (same part no) off eBay to try... A quick question now to the informed.. The KLR does not contain a "Chip" does it ? I dont recall seeing one while the cover was off - I didnt separate the PCB's but....... A vendor in the states advertised a KLR and said "Chip not included" which has me confused to say the least.
I will get a KLR for next week and hopefully the DME comes fairly lively... If this dosent work I will break it and put it on eBay
I am meeting with R25's Phil and Pearl Sharland and crew this Sunday in Galway.. I can drive the car but it struggles to make 60mph .. Wont be nice on a day out [:'(]
