OK, car is booked in for alignment, service and MOT next week, so provided I have not missed anything fundamental the car should be roadworthy for the March 11th meet at Roadford.

With that in mind I was wondering whether anyone else was planning to go and wanted to meet up and convoy down? - Clive, Michael?

Once I know whether any others are interested we can think about a meeting place.

If you would prefer not to post in open forum drop me a quick email instead.

Alex,
If nobody travelling direct from up your way then we are convoying it down from Exeter Services meet 11.00 am for 11.15 am departure. Dont forget to ring Graham Brookes to book for lunch if you want a carvery.
See you 11th

Simon - thanks. I am planning to go straight across the top rather than via Exeter so probably won't join you from the services.
Not sure we will be doing carvery this time (and I realise next time is a long way off [;)]), but if we have a change of heart I will give Graham a quick call.
See you in a couple of weeks.

Might consider it. What actually happens at Roadford? [8|]
John Dennis (the frozen foods guy) wants to join the Club. We were thinking of organising trips later on to some of the summer meets at Exeter.

Hi Alex,
We have an informal meeting (with drinks) covering what were up to and when, then a carvery lunch in restaurant (ring Graham as per my e-mail to book as we need to give Roadford numbers) Good chat, good food , great views and walks if you want too.

Decided the other day that we would have the carvery and have 'booked' with Graham.

However, it is looking highly unlikely that I will be down in the 993 since the car is still being worked on (I always knew it would be close). I am hoping that some miracles can be achieved, but realistically it will not be ready until next week, so it looks like I will be down in the 'daily driver'.

Think I may have to wait until the summer mid-week meets, since my weekends are pretty much taken up at the moment. [:(]
Regards,
Clive
