photobucket, press the code that begins with this should copy, when you paste them here (ctrl + V), you have to alter the IMG to lower case for them to work.

where did you have them done and what was the cost, and turnaround time?

James :)

Thanks James ...uploading pictures now.....taking ages[:D]

parts came from Paul Champagne in the US

prices are on the website, quality is A1 .....not the cheapest, not the most expensive but very good value

just testing see if it works

I'm not jealous [8D]

Me neither. So if this thread is deleted it's nothing to do with me, honest....[8|]

I've wondered about door cards. Mine both have damage from water soaking in to the hardboard, but the visible parts are OK. Did you have the base material replaced before the new covering?

That does look the biz. Very nice.

I presume it was a normal 4-speaker car which had the 10-speaker door modules added?

Oli.

Would guess so, as the front pockets are a lot deeper than mine!

Black/black pasha? Wrong but so right.

Absolutely - and would add the only way I can even stand it!

It was a 10 speaker car but I have installed a new audio system I used a door card from a 4 speaker car as I wanted to mount the crossovers in the doors removing the square grille allows me to adjust the crossover frequency...plus they are nice glass fronted crossovers which are visible through the grille.....

some pictures of the matching seat covers bellow I am hoping to fit them this weekend[:)]

the costs on this car are starting to get out of hand ...last month spent a fortune....I had to buy 2 pairs new shoes, new hand bag, dress and the promise of decorating the bedroom after the cars finished, .....just to get the seat covers[:D]

I showed your pics to a friend of my dads, he says he can make me some for my car, but a complete set (front and rear) for around £300, but in leatherette. is that a good deal?

Nothing beats the smell of leather though[;)]

did you see how much they are though from champagne? 1275$ for the basic set??? sod that! ile get a leather smelling magic tree [:D][:D][:D]

If your dad's mate can make them in leatherette can't he make them in leather just as easily? Yes, the material will cost (a lot) more but that is only one part of the price.

(Make sure you see work he has done before committing; few things look worse than badly-made replacement seat covers.)

Oli.

ive seen stuff hes made for the past 30 years, hes very good. yes he did say he could do it in leather, but the price would be tripled. just as a matter of interest, how can I rebuild the bolster should I decide to get them done?

If he can do a complete retrim in leather for £900 then post his details up here - he'll get plenty of business. Does he fit them for that price as well, or just supply the covers?

Oli.

ETA: Bolster; I'd buy another one. Not sure where from but it can't be hard. I've had good results with repairing tears in bolsters with silicone bathroom sealant (the foam rubber the bolster is made of is silicone, so silicone sealant is ideal) but if there is material missing you really need a new bolster.
