Good Grief!!! Luddites....Everywhere!
Its the most active subject the forum has recently ever seen and all over something as simple as Facebook?!
The Facebook platform has 2.4 Billion users and I have used it everyday for 12 years and have never had a single issue?!
Whereas, I also own a Mobile phone and shop online, which over the years has given me a number of 'Security Issues' and headaches, but I continue to use both. Its just modern life and we have to expect it.......but Facebook won't empty your bank account, whereas credit card fraud, identity fraud etc will. Identities can be stolen from thousand of platforms, even this forum.
Go On, Try it......You never know you might enjoy it

I also have been using Facebook for a number of years and I enjoy using it but I am also aware how risky it can be.
Not sure what a Luddite is and don’t care.
facebook is great for my business as customers talk to their friends and so on.
If your are sensible then Facebook is safe but there are loads of phishing posts that go around and people easily get sucked into them.
If you are not on Facebook then at times you will be missing out on something, it can take up an incredible amount of your time and in my opinion if you can do without it then leave it alone.

A luddite is a derogatory term used to describe a person opposed to new technology. Often people resort to calling others names when they themselves are losing the plot. [:)]

Just because I have crossed a road in the same place a thousand times without getting run over, doesn't mean I need to be any less vigilant when making the thousandth and one crossing.

It proves people are happy using this forum when there are interesting things in it. It's up to RO', RS's and members to maintain it in a fresh and lively way. [;)]
Regards,

Clive
