When I was configuring my new 991.2 GTS, I wasn't convinced that the very open aspect of the sport design front apron was a good idea as the radiator grilles seemed to be highly vulnerable to impact damage so I approached Zunsport and my car became the "donor" car for Zunsport to design and manufacture the grilles.
Here is a photo of the full set fitted, they are very easy to fit and remove but as one member found out fitting the inner pair after the outer grilles are in place is difficult so it's best to fit those first then the outer grilles (unfortunately the instructions don't make that sequence of the fitting process clear). The centre grille simply screws on with two self tappers into the blank panel which I think now looks so much better than a plain piece of black plastic trim.
Before anyone asks, yes you will get small debris between the centre grille and the blank panel but it just washes out with a hose and for the outer grilles as they are relatively easy to detach, they can be taken off and any fine debris removed.
Apparently Zunsport have sold over 60 sets with many going to the USA.
