I'm really sorry that I won't be able to make it tonight as I've just been discharged from the Royal Free Hospital following a bike accident on Monday. I required surgery on my elbow to rewire it up again, and I've spent most of this week on morphine and am still rather groggy. Please accept my apologies as I would have liked to make it down to catch up with you all. I hope to see you at the Dysart for the Christmas dinner.
Sadly the GT3 is now going to be kept cosy in her garage over the next month or two as my elbow rehabs!
Cheers,
Adrien

So sorry to see the result of relinquishing the use of your GT3. Take care and look after yourself and get well soon; Region 20 will not be the same without you and Kish at the helm although I am sure that Des will step into any breach with no problems.
I am quite prepared to volunteer to 'look after' your car, test drive it, ensure that the battery does not go down [although the mileage may go up] subject to you sorting out the insurance for me, whilst you recuperate.
On a serious note; please, even if you do not accept this offer, take your time and ensure that you make a full recovery.
Hope u get better soon mate, sounds painful.....if u need anything just ask...hope to see u well soon!

I can report that although the GT3 is now away in mothballs, he can still drive his Zonda quite quickly and can't resist following another GT3 Mantovani

Thanks guys for your support and kind words. Indeed, the GT3 is tucked away now for a while at least... but thank goodness for my "Z'Honda" slushbox. [
