Porsche Surface Coated Brakes

My 991 S Cabriolet is coming up for a change can anyone advise on the new coated braking system. Is the braking better and what about brake dust. I always would have liked ceramics but were just to expensive and my style of driving would not require them.

Had a test drive in a fully loaded Cayenne last week with these brakes and was seriously impressed. Very powerful feel, even a little over servoed, and am told there is little brake dust, similar to the ceramics. Looks a good compromise to me.
 
I'd be interested if they were available for the 991.1 S, after all, the brakes on a 911 are quite "reasonably" priced compared to other marques so an additional 33% would be easy enough to justify to the In-house FD
