Porsche Spotting

Ahhh good ole Limmasol. I spent three fun filled years there and always wondered whether it was worth looking for a 944 over there.

I think finding one might have been tricky, and selling it after also difficult, so maybe not, would be fun driving one down and back for a short visit though, Road trip!

There's quite few nice cars tucked away on that island. When I was posted there I was having trouble selling my Golf GTI at home, I wish I took it with me because I would have made 3k selling it there. They are mad for their German stuff out there. With all their cars being imports mainly from japan they cannot get enough of them. There's no problems selling a car bought in Cyprus here, at the time I was stationed there you could have an agent search for a car in Japan, have it shipped over and even SVA'd on the island before returning it to the UK.

down in kent today doing a 45 mile bike ride for "on your bike", didn't have a watch on me, but 30 miles in at about 11.30, started to feel bit tired when a very nice blue turbo cab started to come towards me. Inside I wanted scream, shout an throw my hands in the air like a crazy person, decided to give a casual thumbs up, definitely gave me a little pick me up on the ride, wondered if it was anyone on here?

Blue H reg 944 on Borough Road SE1 London at about 20:15 friday night. I was sitting outside at the pub just after the railway bridge.

Sunday night, a blue 944 northbound on the A350 coming up to the A303 at about 7.30 - sorry I didn't see it was a 944 until past the headlights!

A bit late to this thread, but that could well have been me in the 944 I'd purchased about 2 hours earlier. But black, not blue.

A 924 in Blackpool a week last Monday (4th May), and later that day a nice red 944 parked up outside a house in Long Eaton. If the latter one is yours - say hi! I don't live too far away! :)

Rather late to be posting this sighting but last year in August there was a rather dusty 944 parked in a drive way in Alum Chine (Bournemouth)

Two today, a white 944 parked on Colneis road Felixstowe and a red 944 cabriolet top down coming out of Melton, Woodbridge.

Left Shrewsbury and headed up for Skye yesterday. (Black 996 Convertible)
Weather was so good we had to keep putting the roof up as the sun was too bright!!

Not much seen until we got into highlands
White 996 or 7 coming down Great Glen after Ballachulish

Today (Friday) on Skye a 991 Black Exchanged waves

And not seen by a Boxter

Will keep these coming
adding on this thread

Waves exchanged with a red and stickered '44 at about 5pm where the A31 and A35 converge. At about 8pm nearly had a baby when a black Cayman driver not only recognised a 944, but flashed and waved, on the A350 heading.g south into Shaftesbury.

Sunday, just north of Brighton on the A23 H plated red S2/Turbo heading south. A usual I was heading north in the company wagon....

On the A303 near Tintinhull , intercepted a convoy with a grey GT3 , Orange 928 ( nice colour and bodywork ) , a white SC and a boxster.Think they were on their way to Haynes Motor Museum.Waves exchanged!!

Toby ( red 944 Cab )
