Porsche Spotting

So had a busy day, took the 928 to Paul Anderson in Stroud today for belts and some other bits. Sat in a layby on the side of the A419 and saw an ice blue H plate S2 cab, flashes of lights and waves exchanged.

Continued our journey, dropped off the S4, then traveled in the CLC to Hereford and then back down to Marlborough for a late lunch.

On the way back traveling towards Andover on the A338 6 hours later, sure I saw the same H plate ice blue cab (if not a bizarre coincidence, 2 ice blue cabs in one day?) and exchanged waves again.

Anyone here?

Hi Paul,

the S2 cab that was me I live in Stroud but my workshop is in wallop off there today and most weekends . Are you from Andover ? if so you should come over sometime and your 928 very nice by the way. were you driving a Merc 04 plate I think on the way back? Cheers Jon

ah Jon, we discussed the 928 on eBay, we are in Swanmore sort of east of Winchester. We were in an 08 blue CLC. Paul should have my 928 for a while, I'll give you a shout when I get over there to pick it up. Will run over to Wallop in the S2 one weekend.
The cab looks amazing mate.
Cheers
Paul.

In an NCP car park in Birmingham.

At the risk of upsetting the owner, it looked as if it had sat there a while by the dust, but otherwise looked nice. Shame if it's been left there and ends up in NCP's grubby mitts!

Apologies again if it's someone's pride and joy, just in need of a good wash. [&:]

Common as muck these 944s. A blue S2 with sunroof out popped up in front of me on the A25 in Sevenoaks and then I spotted a red Turbo in Dorking. The S2 needs to sort his window washer jets out. I had the roof down in the Merc and narrowly missed having a shower!

Going to have to reconsider abot 996 owners!

Last night pulled alongside a 996 GT3 got thumbs up and had a quick chat at the next lights and then this morning a 996 Turbo came alongside and another thumbs up!

Still reeling ,,,,, :)

I go there for Sunday lunch reasonably often (10 mins up the A1 from me) - give me a shout when you're next up (visiting your daughter?).

I will Dave ,when I get the chance -these weekends tend to be a bit hectic as one or other of them might be working or on call & we then look after the boys-I know last time the subject was raised ,I looked up your location just in case-1 of these days[:)]

I'm 1 mile from the Marriott at Gosforth.

This evening, I passed a red s2/turbo south of dorking on a little B road at approx 6.30pm and for once i was in mine having a spirited drive across country.

I saw the same car last night, which had a c reg,so therefore must be a turbo, on the a25 near holmbury st mary, in between dorking and guildford.

I was in mine and waved, and got a wave back - first time that has happened, i felt good[:)]

Sunday night, a blue 944 northbound on the A350 coming up to the A303 at about 7.30 - sorry I didn't see it was a 944 until past the headlights!

This morning, I think about 8.10am another blue S2 or Turbo on the lower Luton Road heading towards Luton around Brocket Hall.

Monday night, blue 928 on Lower Holt Street, Earls Colne, then Tuesday a super mint Guards Red F reg 944 in the car wash 100 yds away.
