Feeling pretty hacked off right now. Porsche 4 months after announcing and confirming the date, have moved it! Two weeks back. [

Have managed to salvage the situation. At a cost. needless to say we won't be at the hyatt.
Intercontinental on Howard street is reasonable, 7 min walk from Union Sq.
Don't forget to pack the tea Melv ! Some of us are in the Argonaut close to the tram turn around and Fishermans Wharf. If that helps.
As of today, we are all ticked for the trip as well!
No reason really to pre book other than maybe taking longer at the gate. Plus given that time is running out for them to be sent, you'd only have to go and pick them up at the local drop point now anyway i'd guess. A whole group of us were staying at the Hyatt until the organisers put the dates back and the Hyatt stuck it's price up 100 % . So a lot of us at the Carmel Mission inn about 15-20 mins away. A few chaps are glamping at the circuit I believe !
Yep we are glamping american style,in san fran eve of 20th for sea food at fishermans warf,onto yosemite for a couple of days climbing,then a bit of motorsport and out for a bit of sea kayaking,whales and sharks and more sea food at Monterey.
