Many thanks Bill. I am still hoping I can find it. I bought this plate for my wife Pam to celebrate our 27th wedding anniversary. She still asks where is our plate even after 55yrs of marriage. It’s still on a red Porsche whose tax ran out 19 Aug 2020 presumably on change of ownership and the MOT ran out 22 June 2021.
Regards
Bill
Many thanks Cliff, I will keep trying.Good luck Brendan tracking it down.
Many thanks 6DWNot sure if its the car or the Registration number you would like back…… However, if it is the Registration number, you can search the number on the ‘regtransfers.co.uk’ site, and it does return a ‘we can help you find it’ message….worth a try…..
Good luck anyway!
Sounds like a good idea. I will certainly try it. Many thanks.I think you bbest bet might be contacting a number plate seller like regtransfers. I was after a plate that I found on an old rover. I wrote to the DVLA with an SAE envelope asking if they could forward my interest to the registered keeper. They wrote back enclosing my SAE telling me they could not do it as interest in a plate was not a valid reason for contacting a registered keeper (even though I was not asking for an address). Number plate sellers probbaly have ways of tracking plate owners down.
Good luck anyway!
