Over sensitive parking sensors

Hello everyone have been out in my 991.2 TurboS today and suddenly the front parking sensor was bleeping when moving along the road went off then came on again did this a few times, never done this before anyone any ideas or is it a visit to OPC still under warranty. Thanks Brian

Mine does it - if in very close traffic it just turns itself off after a load of beeps but restarts again after traffic cleared
I think it’s normal

Front number plate moved? If it sticks out slightly it can intermittently trigger sensors. Stating the obvious maybe, but check the sensors are clean and haven't got a bug or debris stuck on or near them.

Had issues with this on our previous Macan & just had the same on a courtesy Cayman. A bit of a pain but not sure Porsche Centre can do anything - perhaps worth checking with them?

This often happens on my Cayman, usually the front sensors, I mentioned it to the local OPC and they didn’t seem surprised.

my car 991.2 GTS also does the same when sat in traffic queues at the lights, it does not appear to matter how close i am to the car in front of me, i also have a stick on front plate as well so nothing that could interfere IMO. The behaviour is totally random and does highlight objects on the PCM screen at the front and rear of the car, again its all random...

Stick on front number plate moved away slightly from base when at low speed which made the front left side sensor beep continually. Once on the move all OK until slowing down again. OPC gave me pads that were too thin. Will fit 6mm pad when time allows over the existing one.
