New Year Gathering - Now 4th March, all welcome

Low timer, Edd We would not be able to add to the table of 20 as the room is not big enough, however I would see no reason as to why we could not book another table in the main dinning area for fellow hungary drivers [:D] Let me know ASAP and I will contact Sarah and see what we can arrange

If we can book in for some sort of nosebagging opportunity that would be an advantage. It would probably put the rest of you sensitive souls off your food if I were outside in the howling gales with my nose pressed against the glass, all mournful and hungry...

ORIGINAL: simdel1 So just to check if everyone is ok with the plan for the peterborough stop-off and convoy... Meet at the far side of the car park at peterborough services at about 10 ish. Then up the A1 and a slight detour to pick up andy from stamford. Then the swollen convoy can desend on the peaceful town of rutland. I'm looking forward to this![:)]
Is the en route plan still the same for next weekend?

I hope so! I'm certainly still doing that route to Rutland Can everyone who said they were up for the Peterborough services - Stamford - Rutland convoy let me know if they still intend to do this so I know if I need to be calling/waiting for people. I can't wait [:D] Oh, my friend won't be coming. Unfortunately he'll be in the Alps...

I'm still up for this, either in a blue Cab or lilac Lexus - I'll let you know tomorrow after the MOT!

Yes, I will be joining at Peterborough.

No, wouldn't bother me. I'd just assume it was normal behaviour for those rural parts and ignore it. [:D]

Bad news I am afraid chaps. One of my Boy's footie fixtures has been moved to next Sunday in Lincoln and my daughter is dancing in Birmingham so I can't even sweet talk the ex into taking him as she will be in Birmingham with my daughter. So I will have to pull out I am afraid. If anyone wants my meal place then please feel free to take it. First come, first served just let Andy Watson know what your meal selection is. Andy sorry old boy but can you cancel my meal selection. If there are any takers for my place then they can just give Andy hairyarse the ten pound deposit to give to me. If there are no takers Andy W then may be just as easy to give Andy haiyarse my tenner on the day. I am sure he will spend the lot on gin and whisky though. Or perhaps pudding. It's a close call []

My better half, Sue, said she is coming along to this meet. Not sure why, she's had the car "it's a red one" for 6 years and it will be the first time at a gathering. Maybe she wants to show off her new knitted steering wheel cover. Ply her with chocolate and she may let you have a copy of the pattern! Then again, she has been known to change her mind.
