Glad you got back ok, Simon. 25+ years ago I was driving up the M1 in a mates 300D Merc in the snow. Lovely bright day. Inside lane ok, middle lane mainly ok with some slush, outside lane thick slush! I'm in the middle lane doing 35-40 overtaking queue cars doing 30ish and a Renault 5 doing 60ish overtakes us and 800 yards in front of us, looses it spins 2 or 3 times, misses everything, ends pointing the wrong way on the hard shoulder. 10 minutes later same car overtakes again at the same speed and again looses it, ending up across the hard shoulder , again without hitting anything! Didn't see it again. Its amazing the risks people will take. I do wonder how many are high or drunk!

The 4th sounds great, should hopefully have the white car properly out of hibernation by then too [] Just a thought, is it worth posting a new thread (just temporarily, and not stickied) with the new date in the subject referencing this thread, just in case there are others who can make it on the new date but who might otherwise assume it's already been and gone?
