Yes matey - we meet up every 2nd Wednesday of the month at the Deanwater Hotel at Woodford. Check it out, always a good turn out with plenty of petrol heads[:)]
Cheers
Graham
PS If anyone else wants a set of Rochdale Sports - let me know!

Started to fit the RSB's at the weekend but started bit too late in the day Saturday and only managed to grind off the bolt heads and remove the bolts. Still got to tackle the hex nuts that clamp the mufflers. I thought I was going to be able to finish the job on Sunday but then something came up so I put the new bolts on the original exhaust.

Hope to try and get the prep work done this week and slide those RSB's in at the weekend.

I REALLY WANT TO HEAR THEM !!!

Graham - yes a Dremmel type tool was/is needed - Maplin do a cheap copy with all the bits - that added another hour to get there and back !!!

I'll fit them next weekend now.

I really want to go to the Curry night but I have a birthday drinks so can't make it. Fridays are difficult for me.

Will, so that i don't upset Gert at Carnewal any more than I already have (!) we need to refer to the exhaust mufflers as Rochdale Sports Boxes. aka RSB's! This will avoid any future confusion or misrepresentation [8|]

Ok RSB's are fitted but one of the straps snapped as I pulled out of the garage so I have a new one coming tomorrow which has to be fitted.

Infact the strap snapped as I was loosening the bolt so I tried a temporary fix with the welder. It all held together but then split again when starting the engine.

Obviously I have only heard them idling and with a little throttle blip but so far I think they sound great !!!

Looking forward to tomorrow evening when I can take her on the road !!

Bumping an old thread....

Peter another option is the RSR exhaust modification which basically you exchange your exhaust for one that has been cut open and some of the baffles removed--it depends what ou want from the exhaust

...as cutting open the muffler and removing the internals seems to be a popular modification, I have just listed for sale, a pair of 993 exhaust mufflers/silencers which would be ideal candidates for someone considering such modification.
