New Carrera T Order

Hi

Having considered a GTS, am about to press the button on a March build for a new 991.2 Carrera T.

Want to lock down the spec asap, as could conceivably then get a slightly earlier build.

Current thinking is:

Manual transmission.
Racing Yellow.
Carrera T interior package in Racing Yellow.
Bi-Xenons with PDLS.
ParkAssist (front & rear).
Chrono package.
Cruise control.
Auto dimming mirrors & rain sensor.
Light design package.
Heated multi-function wheel.
Sport seats Plus.
Rear seats.
PCM.

I would welcome any thoughts, observations and suggestions.

So you're asking what to remove?

I was fortunate to grow up with an old 911T, happy days.

Sports Exhaust? Worth the money I think.

Luckily Sports Exhaust is standard equipment, as is Sport Chrono. The Chrono package adds the dashboard-mounted stopwatch.

Thought about some stone chip protection and the like? There's some really funky stuff about (self healing etc) and a "fresh canvas" is always the best way.

I think you'll find that sports plus only comes with PDK, with manual you only get sport mode, regardless of whether or not you have sports Chrono. But I may be wrong.

Nope, Sports Chrono pack in the 991.2 gives you...

"Dynamic engine mounts, analogue and digital stopwatches, mode-switch on the steering wheel to select the driving modes normal, SPORT, SPORTPLUS and individual. Individual mode for individual sporty vehicle settings. SPORTPLUS mode with performance-oriented setting for engine, gearbox, suspension and all-wheel drive (only 911 Carrera 4 and 911 Targa 4 models), throttle-blip downshifts function for SPORT and SPORTPLUS mode, performance display, performance-oriented shift assistant display in the colour display of the combined instrument (only for manual transmission), PSM sport mode."

You still got SportPlus on the 991.1 manual too

Simon, out of curiosity, have you driven both the base Carrera (370/450) and the S(450/550)? Or "T" v "GTS", in other words.
