My 2022 Cayman GTS

Just had an update. The car is clean and free from oil however they need to replace the sound insulation and the felt lining as they are soaked with oil. I woke this morning with the thought it may have gone over the wiring loom but thankfully it’s not. . Parts are available from Germany so they’re ordering them now. Not on back order, thank God. Car should be done and ready middle of next week.

All in all the cost is £699. In honesty I had at least £1500 in mind with the Porsche labour costs so for it to be half that I’m happy. Looks like my new front tyres will have to wait a little longer.

Dan.

As you say, not too bad a hit for work done by a Porsche dealer Dan.

Hopefully everything goes smoothly and you’re up and running again soon.🤞

I still can’t get over the fact that you’ve had the car for 4-years!😳 I can remember suggesting that you went for the climate control option rather than the bog standard aircon when you were finalising the spec.😀
