Multiple errors suddenly appeared

Driving in evening rush hour traffic in Manchester in my gen 2 C4S. When pulling away from a light, had a very rough upchange and the display started cycling through errors:
- suspension system fault. drive with caution
- steering lock fault
- headlight control defective, service required
- system fault (with a little lightning bolt)
- engine control fault, consult dealer, driving permitted
- awd fault, only rear wheel drive, drive with caution
- steering support limited, drive with caution
- every warning lamp lit on the tacho and no speed display (analogue or digital)

The car drives poorly, gear changes very rough, and when I parked up the spoiler was up and the engine bay area was very hot.

I assume it’s some kind of control function failure rather a bunch of disparate systems failing simultaneously.

Waiting for recovery and hoping whatever has gone wrong is covered by the extended warranty. Had anyone seen something like this before?

Try turning everything off, check the battery terminals, then restart. Fingers crossed everything resets. 🤞🏼

Regards,

Clive

On a Right-Hand Drive (RHD) Porsche 991 Generation 2 (2015–2019), the OBD2 port is located in the
passenger-side footwell (which is the left side in RHD cars).
Key Details for Locating the Port:
  • Location: Under the dashboard on the passenger side, to the left of the footwell area.
  • Access: It is hidden behind a small plastic flap or cover, often positioned near the base of the dash or near the fuse box.
  • Appearance: It is a standard purple-colored, 16-pin connector.
