Missing radio code 986

Hi lovely people And hello Richard.

I’ve just bought another Boxster and took the battery off after replacing the MAF and resetting the E pedal and the last owner says he cannot find the code. I’ve been reading the threads and I see that some people can provide the product code. I’ve taken the stereo out today and my serial code on the stereo is Y5022321

Any help will be very much appreciated.

have code 5234 and it worked once perfectly.

but now it isn't working anymore.

radio cannot be decoded. can anyone help?

Well, I can confirm that the code is 5234, but that's about all. Sounds like you need to be looking for a replacement.

Unfortunately my old CDR21 is toast, and looking to buy a replacement online, but note that @Richard said that he has only codes for CDR21 and CDR22. If I got a bought a CDR23 would you be able to help with the code?

Nevermind, I have realized the CDR23 is not compatible because of the fiber optic cable. Will look for a CDR22 instead!

Hi my calculations are:

5 digit: 68898, 24414

4 digit: 8898

maybe these help but I don't know if my calcs work also for CDR-22 (works for CDR-21 for sure)
