If you do have to pull the binnacle, it's worth looking at the silvering for the instrument lighting, possibly needs re-doing, also at the 3 main instrument lighting bulbs and holders, the bulbs should be W3W but mine were changed by Project 9 to W5W which get too hot for the plastic holders. Luckily replacement holders are available from OPC, and I found packs of 10 W3W bulbs on Ebay, still have 6 left!
This might help if you do have to pull the binnacle!

you need to know the number of teeth and also the colour of the other gears, which is a bit of a pain in the ass, as you have to take it to bits, put it back order, wait, take it to bits again

That's what had happened to mine on the cab, thanks to Project 9, hence my comment above!!

Have you got a link to the ones you bought? Are they 3W? Funnily enough mine stopped counting miles a day before I put it away for a few months or so, so I have the same issue and want to replace bulbs while Ive got it out. Ive got a link on the other forum so happy enough with what I need to do, I think I need one of these https://www.ebay.com/itm/...50b:g:teMAAOSwgQ9Vp5~b

and you need to know how many teeth before you order, so you will have to strip it twice unless your not using the car
