I always compliment the forum old-timers; half the job of keeping the cars on the road, and maintaining their profile, is down to you guys. Just a shame you don't come out to play in the real world more often! Get yourself to the Ace one month and I'll miss my badminton and come along as well. []
Chuff, I'm an old-timer now am I? Amazing how these things creep up on you, and if that's the case then surely it's time I sold the jalopy and moved on to something else ... >ShufflesOffToLookAtAdvertsForCaterham7's< [
In terms of Maintenance£/Mile, without a doubt so. In terms of £/year, I suspect this may be true as well. 944's never take well to not being driven; when I was doing 12,000 miles a year in my S2 she ran beautifully well, started on the button every time, pulled hard and drove very cleanly. Since she has dropped back to doing 5,000 miles a year she doesn't run quite as sweetly - more's the pity. I really do need to drive her more.ORIGINAL: George Elliott
I think more miles = less maintenance, as opposed to what might be expected.
