It's raining!

Well, it's a new experience for me and the 981 GTS I acquired on 17 July! This is my first experience of proper wind in the hair (I wish) motoring and there are no regrets at taking that step. My 2023 Macan S is still present so I feel as if all bases are covered.
Now, to the rain, an hour after it started I got into the car which had been getting drenched for an hour or so, all was well UNTIL I put the seat belt on, that was soaking wet, passenger belt dry as a bone.
Has anyone experienced this, is there a known cause and resolution?

I've had it on my 987S. Check all the Door and Roof seals and treat them with a Rubber Restorer. Also make sure Door Glass edges are clean and the window shuts properly. This does the trick for mine. The seals get mucky and need to be cleaned when the car does. Hope it resolves.

Roof drains 99.9%, one of the most common issues.
Get it fixed quick and make sure the carpets are dried out as any moisture will get into the electrics under the seats, it will get very expensive then.
Did you buy it from a trader?
Is it still under their warranty, if so they should take the sills off and remove the filters at the bottom of the drain tubes as these cause the blockage, similar to the Macan roof drains.

+1 for roof drains. They need to be sorted before damage occurs. Relatively easy to do yourself (even I did mine) - plenty of videos by searching "981 roof drains" or similar, including from this guy

It's going into Sheffield OPC next Wednesday. I was amazed at the short timescale and just hope that the warranty coverage also works out as good news...
