Hi Robert,
Pleased you have finally seen the light and congrats on your purchase! Are you thinking of joining PCGB in the future? Will look out for you around and about.[;)]

Robert,

It is as good a place as any to say hello [:)]

Welcome to Porsche ownership, it's good to see someone taking advantage of the current market to sample the marque.
Have you been searching for long before finding this car?

There are monthly meets and regional events through the summer if you are interested. There is more info elsewhere on the forum, though some info is limited to members only so if you want to know more just shout! We have a few active members who look in most days so the chances are you'll get a reply fairly quickly.

Robert

Good choice. I am sure you will enjoy ownership.

I look forward to meeting up with you for a chat at a Porsche Club event.

Hello all, i would certainly be interested in club events.
I will join a little later once i find my way around, i have been tempted to buy a Boxster for a long while now and as you mention this is a good time to buy. I looked at a few over the last few weeks and was quite surprised at how some people looked after their Porsches, a few tatty ones about, i thought it was a criminal offence to neglect a Porsche, well it should be.
I sold my Z3 for the Boxster, i only had the Z3 for a few months after selling my Elise, the Z3 did not do it for me but this Boxster is absolutely awesome.
I still attend a few Lotus meets when i can because of the friends i made at the club, if the Porsche meets are anything like the same i am sure i will enjoy my stay here.

I sold an Esprit Turbo to get my 928S, the Porsche is definately the better car although maybe not as fast in my case.
