Correct![;)] Can't believe that was over 6 months ago - this year has gone way too quickly, too much work. Plus I reckon that must have been one of the hottest days until the other weekend!!

Frenchy - we believe you, we know your photo woes [:D]

It alternates between shiny red and Matt Pink/grubby black, the curse of using it every day all year, and no matter how I resolve in spring to polish it every couple of weeks, life takes over!

The front tyres were P6000 run-forevers, so was trying all methods of increasing wear! ...they are now shod with 452s

I like the results of your hard work with the mop, very shiny! I also recognise the location of the last pic [;)]

I didn't use a mop it is all by hand!

and yes, I am sure you are very au fait with the overflow car park for EGSF!

Mine works! But doesn't light up...

Love the picture of the canoe up above, here's mine with My Bike and my Daughter's Hockey Goalie kit in it:

Pauly, that looks just "right" would prefer an oval tail pipe though, as an aside Scams turbo on TIPEC is the lowest Turbo i have ever seen, the Dub lads would approve. [:D]

Here's mine. Pretty much standard as far as I know apart from the seats being recovered.
Torn between keeping her that way or going for a "sportier" look.........

David, if I may be as so bold as to offer my opinion on your dilemma - personally I think that is a gorgeous example and you'll get a lot more kicks out of it as the years pass if you keep it as Porsche designed, but thats just me - I'm finding I prefer stock cars more and more nowadays. Whatever you decide it's your motor, wish you all the best with it!

Oh and yes I have a functioning clock in my S2 - and at that price a replacement is 10% the amount I paid for her!

Absolutely. Thanks spyro_x. The photo does flatter her a little, but you're right. She is gorgeous!!!! [:)]
I am leaning towards standard. For now anyway.

It was the septic tank that gave it away [:D]

Depends on what you call the sportier look IMO, the look of the 968CS with bucket seats, less frills and cup wheels is still very Porsche looking to me and they came from the factory that way. A similar track focused 944 although not original is still very appealing to most Porsche enthusiasts...

David, enjoy as she is and then when you fancy a change....

+1.

There are so few original cars left, let alone in good condition, that I'd prefer to see some left standard. Personally, unless you're totally modifying a car (al la the Tango'd Cab), or going for a race/track car, I don't see the point of messing with what's a pretty perfect design of it's time. [&:]

I agree it looks right, but would it ride right on the road ?. I considered dropping mine like that when I took it to Center Gravity to have the alignment done, after a chat about ball joints and bump steer I went for something not quite so slammed.
