High pressure fuel pump shortage 997.2 Turbo / 991

Hi all. I’ve been trying to hunt down a high pressure fuel pump for my 997.2 Turbo for two months…seems there’s a supply problem with Porsche….anyone else experiencing same problems or have access to a new one? Cheers Jon

Unfortunately Jon you’re not alone. Here’s a post from a month ago from a chap with a 981 Boxster which will have the same or a similar HPFP.

Oh boy thanks for the heads up Jeff. Can’t believe that.. she’s been off road now for a month. not good.

My CS has been off the road since mid June. keep booking in and the booking keeps changing by a month. Next booking is for Nov. Literally a worldwide shortage. I keep rolling the car on the drive to avoid flat spots on tyres, trickle charge battery and occasionally start it. Frustrating.

Seems no end in sight… Porsche dealers all struggling with this as well. I can’t believe Porsche has gone silent. This is turning into a big big problem..
