Heat Shield Recall.

I read this on another forum which included people saying they have had their cars recalled.

Is this correct?

Porsche vehicle safety recall. Retrofitting heat shield (991 models)
Additional heat shield to prevent fires.
 
I took my 2014 TT to PC Sheffield for tyres and discs. They checked the VIN number when booking and the heat shield was replaced during the same visit.
 
Is this an OLD recall or new? Had mine replaced a couple of years ago under a recall
