I'd consider the possibility that a brand new set could just be a temptation. Were they nicked from your home, where the toerags are waiting for you to replace them? I know that D911 do a monochrome plastic set for c. £20 that is going to be less of a loss than an £80 set of coloured centres. You could always say that monochrome wheel centres are the new clear-lenses, the yellow and red on the Porsche crest is so old-fashioned! [
New set sounds good, or maybe some of those James bond style wing shredders!
Last time it was the bonnet badge and I managed to trace it back to a schoolkid who was gonna drill it and wear it on a chain! Got it back minus the gasket obviously!
Thought such an old lady might have been exempt from such abuse by now. Sadly not!
Oh dear. Is there any hope for me whatsoever? 'No', you say? Ah well.ORIGINAL: pauljmcnulty

Well I had to add my 2p's worth didn't I, since I've got all clears on red and have to admit to being slightly biaised [
IMHO if you've got clear fronts then you should do the sides as well - as for doing the rears, that again is a matter of personal taste and requires a degree of skill to get a near factory look. For me it wasn't about trying to make the car look newer for the sake of it, it's just that styling enhancement is what I do. I guess it's a Marmite thing....bit like my LED sidelights. If you haven't seen it already, you can see the overall look in the opening sequences of.....
