I purchased one of the subscription packages for the sat nav from Porsche that gives GoogleEarth, this worked fine for a month or so. Now it just sits there saying google earth loading, I have left it for 40-45 mins thinking it would be uploading update or something. But nope it just sits there. You can’t use sat nav while it is loading. I have tried resets etc but nothing. Any ideas would be most welcome.

Been in touch with Porsche UK today after a few hours of book reading and fiddling. It appears this is a known problem and Porsche are working on a Software update that will need to be installed at Porsche Centre, but at present the exact date of release is unknown, but likely to be January.

Had same problem with my 2018 GTS last week. Thought I would deal with it after Christmas but having seen your post I decided to do some " Googling".
It appears that Google Earth is no longer available. Rennlist Forum had this post plus there is similar on a Macan Forum too (www.macanforum.com). Not sure what is going on tbh
Google Earth discontinued for 2017-2018 cars?
Google Earth was failing to load in my 2018 911, so I contacted the Porsche Connect folks for help. I received the following email in response (emphasis supplied):
"Thank you for contacting Porsche with your inquiry.
While we appreciate the time you took to contact us, we would be unable to provide the information you are seeking. We were just informed that google earth will be discontinued for 2017-2018 vehicles across the board. It is no longer available for these vehicles.
For further assistance, we would encourage you to contact your local Porsche dealership. To find a dealership near you, please feel free to use the dealer locator tool by clicking this ?link.
We thank you for your time and hope you have a great day."
Does anyone have any further information?

I checked in with my local Porsche centre and they came back to confirm Germany are working on a software update to the PCM, which should be available later in January (no confirmed date). They also confirmed the car would need to come in to the dealership to have the update applied.
Hi, I got a call from Porsche Chester early January, to say Porsche GB contacted them to get my car booked in, as expected it was a long way off, but it is booked in for the first week of March. Not sure if that gives an indication of timeframe, I suppose it could just get kicked down the road. I hope it is sorted as thats 4 months of a 1 yr subscription gone. Nothing official quoted though.
