Don't you just hate "unorganised"/ manipulative people selling stuff?

Bit of a rant but has anyone else found and hate breakers /people who are "unorganised" or manipulative with prices?
Sent someone an email regarding parts on ebay to be told if I go direct to his website (with a link supplied by him) I can get the same item a little cheaper. Go to his website and find said item £20 cheaper including delivery than it is advertised on his ebay, from this I think fair enough I shall have one of them and sent him an email with the advertised price stated and my contact phone numbers to arrange payment.
From this I get an email back asking where I got said price from and that it must have been a previous "2nd chance offer" price from ebay and that the best he can do is £5 cheaper than his ebay price.
With this I took a screen print and sent him the picture showing him the advertised price on his website and that it differed £20 so I didn't get it confused with ebay.
To which I got an email back saying sorry no that was with a previous supplier and he "forgot" (convenient) that they where advertised on his website (so why send me a link to your website why not supply me a direct contact to you? saving me mucking about) and he has now updated the website with the new price.

No real point to this I'm afraid but this level of customer service pisses me off and he's now lost a potential future customer due to his poor organisation or potential greed and lack of honour of following up a sale with a price he technically linked me to!

Sent you a pm mate (I know they are a bit dodgy atm so hopefully you'l get it).
I don't really know the forums rules on publicly naming and shaming and I'm not a big fan of it unless you are royally screwed over which he hasn't done, instead just not had the decency to honour a price.

Simple thing is to report it to ebay. They don't like this sort of thing, as it bypasses their fees.

We don't allow name and shame threads here, but feel free to PM me the details. I would never judge a supplier as good or bad on the basis of one experience, but it's good to get as much feedback as possible and build a picture.

I was thinking about reporting it to ebay and letting them know about him redirecting people.
I thought that was the case as with most forums and understand exactly why. Though this case for me I shall happily take my money for the same part else where even if it costs me more that it would from him. I shall pm you the details now mate.
Cheers,

(pm'd you now paul, thanks)
