Good afternoon
I am looking for legal information of what to do or expect following the damage of my car during test drive by dealership
here is the email received :
There is however a more pressing matter I need to make you aware of, when road testing the car after carrying out the service as we do with every car we service. We have had a front impact in the ice which has caused damage to the front of your vehicle.
I sincerely apologise on behalf of the workshop and are treating this as a matter of urgency to rectify as quickly as possible for you. We are open and honest when these instances occur and will obviously keep you mobile whilst said repair takes place.
I am really sorry that I’ve had to give such news and please let me know if there is anything I can do for you in the meantime.
We are hoping to get the vehicle in the workshop this evening to remove the front bumper to assess if any damage has occurred behind. However I would like to know if you wanted to come down and see the vehicle or if you would want me to send any photos of the damage across to yourself.
Again I apologise such instance has occurred , please let me know if there is anything I can do for you.
Today, I am still waiting the pictures as i could not go today.
If somebody have any information about what i can claim ( warranty, compensation , just the repair )
