As new car experiences seem a bit sparse on here, I thought I would add a brief post that may hopefully generate a little bit of interest and potentially help anyone else currently pondering over renewing their Cayenne.
It's no secret the current Cayenne is due a facelift next year, clearly this is also backed by the addition of the Platinum Edition to the range, the run out model that has a few special add ons and of course more importantly some extra toys thrown in.
With prices currently being so unbelievably strong, I decided to take the plunge and update my latest Cayenne E Hybrid earlier on in the year and ordered the Platinum Edition, before you say it, yes I know it's pretty much the same car, with a few extras added, but with a minimal cost to change into a new car it pretty much seemed like a no-brainer.
I did ponder briefly over a GTS but with the current tax rules the E Hybrid certainly makes a lot more sense to me, it's tax efficient, offers great performance and I can vouch it certainly holds its value exceptionally well. I guess sometimes you're better to stick with what works best for you than to let your heart rule your head, but then again that’s what Porsche ownership does to you.
Anyway I'm picking it up this weekend so I will report back as to whether those additions were indeed worth the wait. I'm also excited to see, just how good the new Chromite Black Metallic looks in real life on such a big car.
