I'd like to replace my silver centre wheel caps. Ebay you can get the fake ones for about £30, original ones will cost about £155 with the PC discount. Do you think I'm better buying the originals - I'm thinking that the latter will look better and probably last longer! Any views?

Not sure how long they have been on there - I have had the car a year and don't know how long previous owner had them - they could even be original ones. Probably best to spend £150 and at least I know they will fit properly!5X£30 = £150. Even if you have to replace them every year you still get 5 years usage. How many years have your original ones lasted?
What's the age of the car? That will give you a clue as per how long they MIGHT have been on there. My experience of the cheaper versions is, as malarcy says, they last (in my case) around 2-3 years and a perfect fit.
