Hi guys,
Im sure you have all seen the below poster. What had not registered in my mind previously was that the plastic mouldings and bat wing are all painted!
http://forums.pelicanparts.com/uploads2/944turbo1078216924.jpg
Searched high and low but cant find any pictures of cars with the standard side plastic lower mouldings and bat wing in body colour. Was this an option from the factory? Or just done to highlight the extra parts on the newly released turbo in that poster?
Has any body actually done this or got pictures of one with it done. My initial thoughts are positive as it would match the lower rear spolier - but where do you stop? The upper spoiler and rear window surround? Door handles etc etc. I would look at using the same stone resistant finish along the sills to tie it in better.
At the moment its still totally standard. suppose it wouldnt be hard to do and change back if it looked nasty.
Thoughts?
Cheers,
Charlie
