Are Spyders Becoming Extinct At OPCs!

Exactly Rob.
What is about is big money in the Porsche world and not much stock in anything i can run to price wise.
Tracy has had a couple of serious offers for her GTS it is a good example with almost 17k of options low mileage.
Seems a shortage of afordable cars around at present.
Stick with yours mate its lovely, as you say what would you get we would be looking at 30k plus for anything worth changing for not sure i wanna do that now retired gotta watch the pennies .🤣
Keep up the good work on the Spyder front buddy.
Cheers

My GTS was £94k most options, it's 3 years old and no previous owners I cannot get a bid above £60k on it.

3 owner SRS coming to auction and currently owned by the chairman of Iconic Auctions Nick Whale so no sellers commission here :ROFLMAO:

This lot will be auctioned via Iconic Auctioneers, The Iconic Sale at the BRDC Classic 2026 - Collectors' Cars on Saturday the 25th of July, The Wing, Silverstone Circuit, NN12 8TN.

This particular 718 RS Spyder is a UK-supplied (C16 specification) example first registered in April 2024 with a list price approaching £160,000, immediately changing hands (presumably for a premium) to the second owner. The car was then barely used, covering some 800 miles, before being acquired by Iconic Auctioneers owner and Chairman, Nick Whale. The appeal of the car was both the colour combination and the extremely high specification combined with its outstanding condition and low mileage.

It presents superbly in factory GT Silver with red and black leather upholstery. Factory options cost over £35,000 and are too many to list here but include forged magnesium wheels, the Weissach Package, Porsche Ceramic Composite Brakes, front axle lift, total front-end PPF, leather interior with extensive items covered in leather and race tex, LED headlights with Dynamic Light System Plus, front bonnet, mirrors and rear wing in carbon finish, BOSE surround sound, park assist with reversing camera, wheels in satin white gold, carbon illuminated door sills, and many more individual items. A full list will be available at the documents office at the sale.

Today the car has covered just 1,588 miles and in March 2026 was treated to a two-year service by Porsche Centre Solihull.

This is an extremely rare opportunity to acquire a highly collectable and totally original car with known history and provenance, no stories, and very much the right specification. A genuine reason for sale and unique opportunity.
