I have not got a ring yet, but as it's my 44th birthday in a few days and we have been together 10 years, every one keeps asking esp her parents, which does get annoying. 4k seems to be the going rate for a nice one though, and I was going to buy a new Manafold !!!!

I bought Linda an engagement ring when the eldest of the 5 kids was 12 when we were in Venice .....14 years on and we may get married next year ......the kids do sometimes ask but the parents have stopped...;-)-take it at your own pace!!

I don't think a g or h stone will cut it that's nir on yellow lol. It has to be perfect cut, perfect polish and a d,e ,f stone. Vvs1 is like money down the toilet imo and you will never see the flaw in a vs2 stone, these are graded at 10x mag. It's all about the cut for the sparkle wow factor and then needs to be clear. You can tell a h stone a mile off next to a d,e,f stone it looks rank. You cannot tell a vs2 stone over a vvs1 stone with out an eye glass.

You cannot tell a vs2 stone over a vvs1 stone with out an eye glass.

Get engaged to someone with a Glass Eye and they will thank you for the sentiment - not the Grade![]

Will need some serious engineering to move the fuel filler cap to the diagonally opposite position to the tank!! Looks pretty enough, but won't steer like ours do. If its ever made!
