Gutted but can't make it now, will be in Australia again for the birth of our 3rd grandchild. That daughter of ours is so inconsiderate!!😄

SUGGESTED DRIVE OUT FOR LUNCH AFTER THE McLAREN VISIT

For members who fancy a scenic drive and lunch after the visit to McLaren we suggest that we make our way to:

Mackenzie's Smokehouse

Wood Nook Farm, Hardisty Hill, Blubberhouses, Otley LS21 2PQ

Just off A59 west of Harrogate.

For those unfamiliar with the area, a nice drive from McLaren would via the Washburn Valley. If you wish to have lunch at the smokehouse please let me know. If a lot of people intend lunching there I will enquire about booking tables.

Everyone who has posted their wish to attend is on my list. In March I’ll post a list showing what I believe to be everyone’s requirements regarding bacon* sandwiches and the post visit drive to Mackenzies Smoke House** near Blubberhouses, for lunch. The visit is proving to be popular with 48 people listed with 8 weeks to go.

*I will as if a vegan alternative can be provided.

**Not a vaping lounge but smoked meat and fish etc.

 
If there are places left could you put us down for 2 places for Karen and I, bacon sandwiches and for the lunch run. Thanks
