Any PPF or Ceramic coating recommendations please?

I only picked mine up last week, but had it Ceramic coated (all paint, wheels and calipers- glass).
Left it to the detailer,asking to prioritise longevity over ultimate finish if there was a choice to be made. Given some of the cars they work on they will have a better idea of what is appropriate. Might not have a flashy name, but right at the top of the tree when it comes to vehicle preparation. (Battersea Power Wash https://batterseapowerwash.com/ )
They used System X Max, which appears to be the latest and greatest and offers the longest warranty, effectively permanent. The Finish is fantastic, obviously it was prepped and polished.
I've covered 900 miles and not washed the car yet, but cleaning the dried bugs of the windscreen is easy so bodes well.

It depends on what you want. I'd recommend any car has CC as it looks njver and stays cleaner and is easier to clean. Ppf has come a long way from the thick yellowing product of old. Depends what you want
My 996 was CC as part of prep from RPM. 5 years on, it was still oerdoming well. That was Kenotek and that is better for older cars
The 997 Turbo I had ppf out on, expel. The reason being, coming to trade in the 996,there were so many chips, it really needed a respray. The paint on the 997 is perfect and ppf will help keep it that way and like the 996, I plan to have her at least 5 years. CC can't compete against stone chips, you WILL get. I also do part time Valeting and Detailing and I love CC. They make the car look better. You can CC ppf to get a better result. I'm after keeping my car looking better for longer. I also feel after a clean and a quick detail spray, she looks great. No one can see its ppfd

Depends on your preference/budget. Ceramic coating done properly on a new car is fantastic, I have used Adam at Revolution Detailing for many years, and his attention to detail (sorry) is second to none. I’m in the Cotswolds too, and he’s worth the drive.
Topaz in Bristol did the Ppf on the Touring and run an impressive, if expensive, operation. The car had to go back for a faulty panel, but they picked it up in a covered wagon and returned it without question, so fair play and a quality job in the end. That’s where service counts IMO

Hi Paul,
I recently posted a similar question on here for my local area and after a few recommendations from club members, I settled on Ideal Detailing (https://www.idealvaleting.co.uk/).
The set-up is that Dave at Ideal Detailing works in conjunction with Tom who runs (https://www.procare-uk.com/). Dave does the detailing and ceramic coatings and Tom does detailing and PPF.
The car was new to me but 5 years old and before deciding what to have done I took the car there for a free inspection and to discuss options. I’m not a big PPF fan so spoke with Dave, who said the paintwork was in very good condition and would only need a small amount of correction and polishing. He offers a range of ceramic finishes with warranties of various durations. Interior, glass, and wheel surfaces were included and full wheels can also be done - even centrelocks! I decided to go with Titan ceramic and had the 2 stage application with the 4 year warranty. As you may know the longevity of the coating is affected by many things such as how the car is cleaned, usage, where kept etc, etc. Dave had the car for five days and I’ve posted a couple of pictures of the results for you. I have no connection with either Tom or Dave, other than now being a satisfied client.
