I dont know how many have you actually got at the mo and why do you want another ?

Black 220 on PH, Based in Lancs, the seller seems to know me probably has frequented the forums i visit ? Has sent an honest description, sounds fairly sound mechanically, a few faults interior wise worn bolster and dash cracks, comes with some spares to sort.
Some corrosion which does not sound too bad, may have a look and weigh up wether or not it can be made "lovely" without too much expense, labour of course is free courtesy of "Frenchmiester Engineering"
Need to sweeten up my old Mum, who is using one of her garages as a garden shed,it is quite a long garage so i am thinking car can go in the back leaving room for her to put her lawnmowers etc in , if the car has potential i may just store it until funds and time allow.
It may help may of the mortgage in years to come ?
Mate of mine bought a time warp low milage 964 Anniversary about 18 months ago, one has recently sold for 15k more than he paid for his and another Cat D example is a good few thousand more than he paid for his example..........................Bollox to ISA 's and the like, buy classic Pork [;)]

If its the black one im thinking of then i asked for a close up of the sills and they defo had rot
Obviously i dont know if you mean the same one.

Regards mas

He said there was some corrosion on the sills, obviously these will be given a good going over inside and out, along with the usual places, it is not too far away so i may give the black turbo a run out before winter hibernation, i do have a couple of friends who own large insurance approved stste of the art bodyshops who will do repairs at very favourable rates. Which helps out immensley.
A trip to view will make me wiser methinks.
I will not be making rash descisions (hopefully)

I'm not laughing. Neither is Edd. And you shouldn't either.

(Unless I am watching a turbo getting smaller in my rear view mirror. I laugh then.)

Sticks and stones boys !

I do not know where the unreliable 944 Turbo thing comes from ? i can probably count 2 faults which rendered a 944 Turbo "going nowhere" a DME and a TPS, I can honestly say they are as reliable as any other 944 model if looked after i have owned 944 Turbos for at least 10 years along with a Lux.
I have no beef with S2 cars as i nearly bought one this year and have driven a few and enjoyed them IMO they are way undervalued, but at the end of the day lads at 100 leptons and you hit 18psi there are not a lot of things on the road that can give that kick or grin, and around the twistys are the same as if you know how to keep them singing, lag is negligible in a tuned and sorted car...................using the gearbox also helps !!!

Bloody Upstarts [:D]
