Thank you, James :)

One thing I really liked about Sunday (and on my way to Sunday Scramble the other week) is the amount of people who say things like:

I love following your car, that back end is still amazing :)

I'll post my link of pics in the Rally thread

Looks good are you enjoying it?

Thanks very much. I really am, I bloody love it so far and I’m pretty sure that Shell share prices are going to rocket as a result

Looks awesome. Tell us more about it! Looks like full GT3 MKI body kit with sports classic alloys. Anything tasty inside?

Thank you very much, it’s a testament to the previous owner

It’s a ‘99 C4 with factory Aerokit, M030 and Sports Classics (2’s?). I don’t think there are many options ticked for inside but the simplicity suits me perfectly. It’s tasty ‘underneath’ though, having spent some time at Hartec

Here's my Lovely 996 C4. Recent work done: front bumper off, cleaned out rads and added two new OEM horns. stripped out the CD changer and mobile phone bracket and replaced with flat trim panel in metropole blue. four new P Zero..bliss

Good morning fellow Porsche people. Thought I would post an update on my 996.1 C4 manual - 3.5 years into ownership & I get just as big a rush and smile every time I take it out as I did the day I purchased it. This is my first Porsche and has lived upto and way beyond my expectations.

The car had 67,000 miles on the clock when I took possession and now stands at 82,000. I drive it year round when conditions are dry as very much a 2nd / 3rd vehicle.

The colour is Orient red and gets lots of compliments / comments wherever it goes. Upgrades since I purchased - new clutch, IMS (nothing wrong with the one removed) & RMS seal. New rads & condensers. I have refreshed the entire suspension and now sitting on Bilstein B6/B8 combination on H&R springs (lowered approx 20mm) with 15/10mm wheel spacers. Suspension work was done by String Theory Garage (Stratford upon Avon), who I would highly recommend. I have also added an original GT3 front lip splitter - subtle but IMO compliments the narrow body perfectly.

The car is a non sunroof model and has sports hardback seat with a nice array of carbon trim (dash, gear lever, handbrake & turbo sports wheel) as the only internal options.
