Just been looking at new 991 at mt local dealer.

Overall impressions (silver 991 2S) are excellent but I don't like the bulbous headlights......really don't.

really.

don't.

on the contrary - I think the domed headlamps are a great look. only something I noticed when seeing the car in the flesh. very spyder-esque.
I'm not sure about the full-width sunroof though - there doesn't appear to be any fixtures for the roof-rack... (I know, I know; if I want a roof rack why don't I have a regular car - but the whole point of the 911 is that it's an everyday car, and I need a roof-rack for the bikes, and a sunroof to get the Christmas tree home in)

To me, a slight look as if a JCB has just taken it up the rear. I'm not thinking it's a deal-breaker but......

There is certainly a roof rack on the configurator!

I've spec'd a roof rack (a must for me as I need to cart two bikes around) but on Saturday neither the dealer nor the service rep could see how you could possibly attach one on the two cars in the showroom.

The dealer has checked with Porsche today and called saying that you need to specify the roof rack on order as they have to add fittings to the car. It appears you can't retro-fit the roof bars as you can on the 997, Cayman etc.

Whilst the configurator allows you to spec both sun-roof and roof rack I doubt you could slide the roof back with the rack fitted. That said, I don't want a sun-roof so won't be a problem for me.
