Only joined PCGB last month, just getting round to posting a thread up about my car.
Its my first Porsche, umm'd and ahh'd for a few weeks and my wife talked me into would you believe !?
2007 Meteor grey 987.1 Boxster 2.7
Bought it 11 months ago, private sale, previous buyer looked like he'd looked after it, spared no expense with OPC servicing.
And his dad owned it before him for the previous 7 years.
Full Porsche Centre service history, with all receipts, even tyre receipts and all the MOT's.
53k on the clock
PCM/nav, heated leather seats, climate control, sound package plus with upgraded Porsche amp, Carrera S 19" wheels
I had the car checked over upon purchase, no over revs which was reassuring, and amongst all the excitement of buying a Porsche I failed to realise the MOT ran out 2 weeks after I bought it.
Anyway clean bill of health at OPC Nottingham and then on to enjoying it!
Had both front a/c condensers replaced, as OPC noted n/s was weeping.
Also had all the exhaust clamps replaced.
Found the car a bit too quite for the first 3 months, then had Carnewal's modified genuine silencers fitted.
Wow !
Let's just say the car found its voice []
Done one road trip with my 15yr old son so far, up to the North Yorks moors for a couple of days which was fantastic.
Blakey Ridge has got to be on your list of driving roads if you're ever up that area. (mind the sheep though)
Did the surrounding area, Whitby, Helmsley, Pickering etc etc
Quick pic at the Fox & Hounds @ Sinnington

Saw loads of guys in 911s, Boxsters, Caymans, the lot, driving towards Whitby when we were coming back down, it was middle of last June.
Every one waved, I couldn't help feel we were missing out on something...we were definitely going the wrong way []
Hoping to meet up with a few of you R4 and R8 region members in the coming weeks.
