These are full to full calculations, so its always possible that this is a freak low caused by an early pump click-off, but it gave me a fright.

urban driving : 24.8 mpg
constant 56 mph: 40.4 mpg
constant 75 mph: 32.5 mpg
944 turbo
urban driving : 22.8 mpg
constant 56 mph: 44.1 mpg
constant 75 mph: 32.1 mpg
Worthy of note is how much more efficient a forced induction engine is at 56 mph compared to N/A which is how it should be, of course once you start to use copious amounts of boost these figures go right out of the window. These engines were some of the first so called World engines that were capable of top performance whilst maintaining very good efficiency no matter what part of the world the car was used in and the bad fuel that was available there.
