Today was a dawn raid into the heart of the Cotswolds; in and out before the locals set off for their afternoon tea. Not realising that we don’t need permission or a second referendum to exit London twice in one month.
Such a difference two-weeks made to the drive; swapping the tail end of the ‘Beast of the East’ and snowdrops, for blue skies, a gulf blue 911, and spring daffodils.
Still a day for foodies with a brief coffee pitstop at the trendy Daylesford followed by Sunday lunch at the London favourite The Chequers at Churchill.
