Leaving Germany for the last time, the Porsche Club GB London members headed towards France and the Champagne region.
Day 9 of our ‘Great Escape’ was a day of cake, chateaux, and castles. Today’s routing took our Porsches through the Black Forest stopping for the mandatory cake of the same name then heading further west towards France with a pit stop for afternoon tea at Château de La Grange before a final push to our final night stop the impressive Château Fort de Sedan.
Tomorrow we visit the historic Veuve Clicquot champagne caves and the iconic Circuit de Reims-Gueux before setting our Satnav for Calais for our journey home.
