It was a very special evening at Porsche East London for those that were able to be there for the evening with the Urban Outlaw, Magnus Walker.
Out in the car park there were some amazing cars, their owners sharing the same passion for Porsche that Magnus first got when he saw that White Martini Porsche at the Earls Court motor show aged 10. All excited to see and hang out with a super cool dude.
What Magnus didn’t know is that we had managed to track down the press car for that very show! Coming inside he was greeted by a familiar shape covered by a Porsche dust sheet that many of us have seen. You could see the look of anticipation, or was that ‘Turbo Fever’.
Henry opened the evening taking Magnus back to the late 70s motor show and then it was time for the reveal. From under the dust cover came the iconic White Martini Porsche, simply stunning and still feeling fresh. For Magnus and the audience, a very special moment.
Howard, it’s owner came to the stage, lots of 'East End' banter ending with Magnus in control of the keys. No, Magnus for now this is OPP. The next hour had us hearing stories about his past and the future, dreams, and that Porsche passion.
Once more the line for a signature and an audience was long but as before worth the wait. Lots of smiles and a personal note in every book.
Magnus, we hope you’ll remember this evening for a long time, please come back and we’ll treat to some more London hospitality and a drive where you can hear it sing.
