Even a ‘mildly moist’ start could not deter the hardier R20 members from leaving the meet point with their roof’s down. A short run along the motorway to warm our tyres and we were soon on the flowing roads of the Cotswolds. The rolling hillside and empty roads at this time on a Sunday morning make for a perfect playground for your Porsche. With expansive views of picture postcard English countryside and drying roads the cobwebs were soon blown away. A short stop for Coffee at The Chequers pub in Churchill and we were off again, flowing with the landscape with big skies. Arriving for lunch at The Fishes, an oasis on the edge of Oxford the wide grins were a testament to a mornings good driving.
