With over 70 cars on display Ace Cafe maintained its reputation as the most popular monthly Porsche-only meet in the UK. The price of entry to this bonanza? Bring a Porsche, that is it! Tonights mix was as eclectic as ever with a range of air cooled from Rob's 993, some RSs to a group of 3.2 Carreras. The front runners were well represented with some gorgeous 928s whilst the Boxsters bravely had their roofs down. The marshal managed to squeeze yet another Porsche into the display, beating his own record. Soon the outfield was as interesting as the infield.
With the longer evenings the car park remained full with enthusiasts mingling and chatting beyond the sun setting, undeterred by the chill in the air. We welcomed new club members and those from other regions who experienced the laid back, friendly atmosphere of Ace Cafe. Those just returned from our Zeeland Adventures weekend shared stories of their escapades and we planned for our upcoming Le Mans trip. A great way to spend a Monday evening.
