The Club offers sincere thanks to all those members who made this year’s Silverstone Classic such a memorable event.
The combined efforts of Porsche Club GB and Porsche Cars GB were formally recognised when both parties were presented with the coveted Mervyn Garton Scarf and Goggles Award.
All told, around 2500 club members displayed some 1200 Porsches at the iconic circuit, including 100 transaxle models which took to the famous track for the special parade.
There are still plenty more events to look forward to with Porsche Club in the months ahead:
Lockton Register Rendezvous, September 10
Members are cordially invited to Lockton Register Rendezvous which takes place at Kedleston Hall. This family-friendly, free-to-attend Porsche only gathering is staged at one of the National Trust's most prestigious venues and more than 400 Club members expected to attend. Goodwood Revival, September 9-11
It's just over a month until the Goodwood Revival and this year Porsche Club will have a presence at the meeting. Find us at stand number 367, across the road from the circuit. There will be, as ever, complimentary coffee for members along with a beautiful display of pre-1965 Porsches.

Oulton Park Gold Cup, August 27-29
Join the Club's North West Region this August Bank Holiday at Oulton Park for the 2016 Gold Cup. The popular event takes place at the circuit from Saturday, 27th through to Monday, 29th August with over a hundred Porsches forming the Club’s infield display.

Castle Combe Autumn Classic, October 1
The Club will be in attendance at the Autumn Classic at Castle Combe on Saturday, 1st October. Club members can enjoy a £5 saving on tickets if booking before Friday, 16th September and will also receive a Paddock Pass to display their Porsche on the Club’s stand. 356 Register at Shuttleworth, October 2
The Club’s 356 Register will be taking part in the ‘Race Day Finale’ at the Shuttleworth Collection in Bedfordshire. Last year more than 30 356s attended, creating a fantastic display of Porsche’s early models. As well as exciting aircraft displays, classic cars and live music, this year’s event will feature the inaugural ‘Shuttleworth Sprint’ on the grass runway.
