R1 member, Steve Marsh, invites you to an event South of the border:
A two-day event aimed at Porsche enthusiasts. Costing £20, the Saturday is an open-air cinema showing 'No Man's Land' starring Charlie Sheen. Drive in, feast on open fire food, kick back and relax to the ‘80s cult classic. Bring your own picnic blankets and chairs.
Sunday is the main event, which is held outdoors on a 100-acre site with loads of classic/custom Porsche models. The price is £15pp, although numbers are limited. The location is Longford Lane, Bicester OX25 2NS. This may be familiar with some people as it’s held at Autofarm Porsche specialists. Porsche’s 917 made an appearance at last year’s event.

My family and I are attending the main event on the Sunday, our first time. We are staying local at The Kings Arms Hotel in Bicester OX26 6AH. Rooms are still available and other hotels are available nearby. We plan on a sedate journey down on the Saturday and a late afternoon departure back for Scotland on the Sunday. It would be nice to travel with likeminded PCGB members either way...
