The Yorkshire Region (R7) is a vibrant Region with over 1,000 members and a broad spectrum of events held throughout the year with members from a diverse set of backgrounds and ages, all united by a passion for Porsche. Between us we own practically every model of car, or tractor manufactured by Porsche. We are fortunate that Yorkshire has some of the most stunning roads and scenery in the country, including three national parks, the North York Moors, Yorkshire Dales and part of the Peak District, making it a great place to enjoy our cars. All PCGB members irrespective of the Region they are attached to are welcome at our events and club nights. We have excellent relationships with and enjoy support from the Porsche Centres in Hull, Leeds and Sheffield and from respected well-known independent Strasse in Leeds and RPM in Knaresborough. Our Region is very fortunate to be blessed with several high-quality Porsche specialists and members are always willing to share their experiences and recommendations. We hold monthly club nights/meetings in the north, south, east and west of the Region (see panel). These are social gatherings starting from around 19.30 and ending around 22.00 unless otherwise posted on the club forum. The social evenings are interspersed with guest speakers and fun events. Our events programme includes touring style drives, visits to national events such as the Silverstone Classic and Donington Historic and neighbouring Regions events. Our main event is the annual Yorkshire Porsche Festival and concours competition. In recent years it has attracted over 1,000 Porsches. We keep members in the Region updated through our monthly email newsletter and provide regular updates on our forum pages which is the place to go to for up to date information about events and what’s happening. We have a closed Facebook Group PCGB Yorkshire which is an ideal place to post photos of past events. To join it, please email a request to R7@porscheclub.com with your Facebook name and your PCGB membership number. We also have Twitter and Instagram accounts. The CoG The R7 Coordinators Group, which functions on a daily basis supporting the Region and developing the events and general running of R7 PCGB, work that is voluntary and can be time consuming, as you'll appreciate.
